Angela
Preschool Leader since 1992
BSc Hons, Early Years Professional Status
Hello I’m Angela, I am continually amazed at the way children learn through play and it is a joy to provide a welcoming place for all children and families whatever their background or needs.
I especially love outdoor play, nature and being creative. It’s a real privilege to be involved with the children at this crucial time when they are growing and developing so fast.

My name is Laura, I have worked at RSG since it began in March 1992 starting as an Early Years practitioner and becoming Deputy Leader in the year 2000.
I have loved seeing the children develop during their time with us and particularly enjoy the diversity and challenges which mean that every single day is different.

Hi, My name is Jo. I started working at RSG when my son was in reception, that was over 20 years ago.
I enjoy supporting the children at many different activities whether it be painting, craft or sensory. Whilst I have been here I have formed many close relationships with not just the children but with parents too.

Hi – I’m Marilyn. I’ve worked at RSG since 2002 only having a break when my son was born. I enjoy storytelling and dancing and am renowned for my facial expressions as I tell stories.
My son attended RSG and really enjoyed his time here and benefited from being included in a mainstream setting in partnership with the Phoenix Centre, as he has autism.

At 18 I was offered a job and did my level 3. I have enjoyed working here ever since. I enjoy children’s parties and dressing up and planning and organising end of term musical shows.

Hi – I’m Karen. My daughter started at RSG in 2009 quickly followed by her brother in 2011.
I started volunteering on the parents’ rota, and then became a parent rep and when my babies left for school I couldn’t bear to leave. I joined the staff team and did my Level 3 qualification. I love messy play (the messier the better) and getting to know the children’s personalities.

Hi – I’m Manola. I started as a volunteer at RSG to thank the pre-school for doing such a great job with my boys when they were younger. I really enjoyed working with children so I went on study for my Level 2 and 3 childcare qualifications.
I love making friendship bracelets with the children & supporting them & celebrating their progress.
